On November 1st we celebrate the Feast of All Saints with an afternoon of fun. At Saint Mary, we take this wonderful opportunity to introduce the children to the heroes of our faith with carnival games, prizes, treats & lots of fun.
The gym is transformed into a heavenly place where the children find lost articles with Saint Anthony, cast down the serpents with Saint Michael and more! There is a cake walk, prize store and a quiet area where children can get a break from the action to hear stories and color pictures. In the spirit of the party, the children may come dressed as their favorite saint. Please feel free to use what you may already have at home. Saints are farmers, fireman, doctors, kings, princesses, knights, simple peasants and soldiers. Many children dress as angels and we always have a lot of Marys! |
