We are pleased to announce that Terry Rabideau, one of our school parents, will serve in a new position as Holy Family Alliance Coordinator. Last spring, our PTO leadership team, along with parents in attendance, discussed the intention of seeing our PTO evolve into a slightly different model, mission and focus. It was very well received and so we set out to develop ideas to help PTO, now Holy Family Alliance, broaden the scope and leadership responsibilities while trying to encapsulate core events. There will be a number of annual events, specific to the school, that will continue as they always have while looking for ways to expand beyond just a mainly fundraising-service group to one that fosters more community amongst our current families as well as parish families. This group will continue to maintain and support the mission of our school while seeking to add a few events, talks, socials, etc. Partly, it is intended to assist parents, who are trying to raise disciples and future saints, to promote faith and catechesis with a liturgical emphasis. We believe Terry Rabideau, along with the support of current parents, will help us add to the rich culture that has been growing here at St. Mary School and Parish.
